Beschreibung
In the Klett history book series, the unit “The Dictatorship of National Socialism” („Die Diktatur des Nationalsozialismus“) presents the main characteristics of the fascist dictatorship. Ludwig Bernlochner briefly describes the change in political systems after the First World War and the supplanting of democracy by the “fascist” regime in large parts of Europe, with particular emphasis on Italian fascism. Despite the differences between the individual authoritarian and totalitarian systems of leadership the author presents fascist movements as a common European phenomenon.
